Well it's been a few days since Steven Sinofsky from Microsoft showed off the full world of Windows 8 at Microsoft's new Build conference and since we've had a few days to digest all of the news surrounding the presentation we figured it was time to toss our two cents into the ring.
Today's WinExtra on Windows podcast is where myself, Paul O'Flaherty, and Holden Page talk Windows 8. The interesting, the possible, and the questionable parts of Microsoft's riskiest bet yet.
Enjoy.

Yes folks, Paul O'Flaherty and I are back to do a semi-special episode of WinExtra on Windows. Well it's not really a special, we talked about it during the week and how much we missed doing the podcast so we figured what the hell we'd break out the gear and see what happens.
It the listener response is there, good or bad, we will definitely think of doing the show again on some kind of semi-regular basis.
Anyway here's the show and hopefully you enjoy it. We start off talking about the whole HP story, of course, and then let the conversation head where it may.

Get out your calendars folks because you need to mark this day down as one of the few times that I have absolutely refused to show the video for one of the stories that Paul and I talk about on today's show.
Yes it is that bad.

Today's big news is obviously going to be centered around Microsoft and Xbox showing off some new stuff at the E3 event but that didn't stop Paul or I from digging up some other interesting news in the world of Microsoft.

Well, there's no getting away from it, for today at least. The big topic of discussion is obviously about the Windows 8 reveal that happened yesterday both at the D9 conference and over in Taiwan.
So needless to say Paul and I have a few opinions about it.

It's looking like Microsoft is heading into some pretty interesting time and we should start getting some glimpses of what that future might look like with Steven Sinofsky's appearance at the D9:AllThingsD conference today but we'll have to be happy right now with talking about what we do know of.
